Autism Symptoms and Behaviors - Home Video

I made this video to show the behaviors my ASD son displayed throughout the years. These classic autism symptoms were the clues that lead to us diagnosing and embracing his autism. Intervention has been so crucial for us to overcome the obstacles in communication and learning. Everyday, we are seeing our son make so many improvements in the areas he use to struggle in.

this was rewarding to watch. As A mother of six year old nonverbal autistic daughter, it's good to see that like my daughter he didn't have meltdown only! My daughter never has a meltdown, always nonchalant. Happy and carefree. Much like Desmond. I honestly believe it's how much time, and patience we give them that keeps them happy. They don't ask for much.No more then infant would.A world I could live in for eternity. Thanks for the video, my dad part is when he turned to hug you while taking SELFIES. that made everything worth living for.

My elder brother is suffering from autism since i guess when he was a toddler. Autistic children are hypersensitive to loud noises and busy places, you always have to give them a lot more attention, and also you have to let them have their own space if they want to. A calm environment at your home is a must for them. Some of them develop a lot of manias or they love to do one thing repeatedly or get attached to something, do not force them to not do anything because doing that can make them hyperactive. Also you have to speak very gently with them.

Thanks for the Video clip! Forgive me for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you researched - Trentvorty Kids Science Theorem (search on google)? It is a smashing exclusive product for becoming an excellent parent minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my m8 finally got excellent success with it.

Been trying to explain to my son's therapists what he does. He doesn't do all of these, and is more delayed in alot of these areas. Has vision issues and communication and social skills he's behind. His main stimulant or what I think is a stimulant is he will scream mmm or nnnn alot depending on his mood. But his face gets red, purple when he does it. Freaks me out and is so loud. That's his main form of verbally communicating his emotions. He does flap sometimes but not all the time. He moves around when he's walking like he's trying to balance by moving his arms in different ways. some therapists think it's not autism. but i think otherwise. He's almost 3. he is getting evaluate soon, so hopefully I can get clearer answers.

Hi. Beautiful video. Our 2 year old son is near the end of his autism diagnosis. We accidently helped with his eye contact by putting a large portrait mirror on the wall in our lounge originally for our daughters ballet practice. He then started watching TV by looking through the mirror. He would then look at him self through the mirror. Shortly afterwards he would look at us through the mirror then amazingly he started looking at us naturally in any room and outside of the house.. As you say everyone is unique and I hope you get that beautiful eye contact soon enough xxx God bless you and your family

Thank you for sharing! Our pediatrician has just diagnosed our two year old daughter ASD. She will begin therapy soon, and the doctor stated she'll likely be high functioning. I don't know what it all means yet. Ive been on the internet for a week trying to learn as much as I can.

I'm scared this was my deepest fear and my son was just diagnosed. 😢 All my hopes a dreams dashed. I pray he will be able to have a normal life and be happy. Why my son I ask God why? I was a good person all my life why did it have to be this way? He is my only child. His father blames me for our son being Autistic he blames me for each sign of autism our son displays. This diagnosis has ended my relationship now I'm a hated single mom by his dad. I dont know what to do btn my son and my demanding job and his dad's hatred I do not know what to do.

In order to relieve the symptoms of Autism issues use an eyebrow tweezer on the hair follicles and take them out of the hands, feet, and wrists of the soul that is having problems. There should be marked improvement in a very short time period. God bless you all, thanks Ron.

My son turns 3 in about 2.5 months. He has severe speech delays. He repeats numbers and the alphabet a lot when he's not directly engaging in them. He stims a lot, almost constantly when he's excited. I still think it's cute, it's kind of like dancing and spazzing out without music. He's in speech and play therapy with an autism specialist. He's going to be evaluated for special needs preschool in 2 weeks. He's great behaviorally and wants to socialize with other kids but gets so excited that he never really engages with them. He has a sister who is 16 months who he never plays with. He's always seemed indifferent towards her unless she takes one of his comfort objects. He still always go out of his way to mess with wheels when we're out and about. He's had a fascination with spinning wheels since he was a baby. Now it's balls and rings. My younger brother is severely autistic and growing up in that chaos really did an emotional number on me growing up. I tried doing everything to prevent this for my own son like delaying vaccines. Now I'm worried that his good behavior will go down the drain if he gets the MMR. After finding out about fetal byproducts in vaccines I'm even less enchanted with the idea.

Autism is a western disease. Perhaps it's real, or perhaps the medical industry motivated by greed needs you to spend money on therapy. There is no money in a cure, only in maintenance of a problem that may or may not exist.

Reminds me of my oldest, almost exact same mannerisms. But my boys fight like cats n dogs lol it was sweet seeing siblings enjoy each others company for once (mine are both beyond sweet to everyone else they meet, just not each other) gotta say a little envious. Would like to know how you deal with the hard times though, always appreciate new perspectives to help my boy interact with his days more smoothly and be less stressful for him.

My son is 4 years old, he has a learning disability from having so many seizures! He does everything this little boy does, but cincinatti does not want to test him cause he think seizures messed his brain up, I feel helpless as a parent cause he can't communicate, kids make fun of him at pre school, how do I discipline him? I have tryed 123 magic and have failed cause he goes in his room and poops and plays in it. Can some one please answer my question? I am currently 38 weeks pregnant with his sister and stressing over him being mean to her he's my world and I wanna be a better mom

4:45-- maybe he doesn't mind this, but as an autistic person, PSA to parents of autistic children: most autistic people HATE people putting stuff near their face! This can make ear exams, etc extremely traumatic. Do NOT attempt to restrain someone into compliance with the same, it will lead to lifelong PTSD. Use convincing and rewards ONLY.

Autism is a child with gifts you should not make into disabilities. He can probably hear the Astronauts talking in Space. He is fascinated with the theory of relativity and quantum levels. He will ignore your stupidity to his intelligence, and will continue to repeat studies on levels you do not comprehend.

its so hard..in Turkey people are in denial. the doctor says. oh he is bilingual. it happens. next. but all the questions ticked yes. ı have known for 5 years my son is autistic. and folks. it doesnt mean he is good at maths and a genius. it means it is f. ing difficult. day in day out.. you love someone. but they irritate you to a point where you want to slam your head against a rock.. and if you admit that. you are a bad parent. there is no support. people dont want to be with you. you cannot go out wiht your child. you lose your friends. probably end up splitting from your partner. and if you mention. maybe. that we should check the intake of heavy metals in vaccinations. you know. as this crisis is getting worse. you become ostracized from half of humanity who do not wish to consider that option... you get the feeling that no one knows what to do.. because. really. no one can put a finger on what it is and why it is exponentially growing

When I see a person with autism who is severely impaired like head banging - I understand. Language delay - I understand. But other things are so unspecific. Eye contact. If you are a European person you think it's bad and socially inappropriate. but in Asian cultures - it is rude to have eye contact.
